CRIME NIGERIA PLC.

It has never been in doubt that criminals and thieves run the Nigerian state. Stealing, looting and money laundering are now acceptable as a way of life; it is the hallmark of Nigerian leadership and new and acceptable state policy. The nation is a criminal enterprise that pander to and, like a band of mobsters and mafia, continually confirm that criminals, thieves and rogues are in control, and the law of probity and morality will have no place - at least for now. A convicted thief, money launderer and criminal, who is the mentor and benefactor of Goodluck Jonathan, has been pardoned by Goodluck Jonathan! Welcome to Crime Nigeria Plc where thieves and looters are above the law and superior to the decent, larger society, and where a crime was recklessly, nonchalantly committed while granting state pardon to an ex-con and criminal. Show me your mentor and I will tell you who you are - a Lawrence Anini, a Dr. Ishola Oyenusi, period. If a thief mentored you the certainty that you will be no better than your thieving mentor and crooked master is never in doubt.  What will make a government pardon a thief, a money launderer and a criminal at a time like this and just a few years after his conviction and time in prison?

This is a criminal act and an insult to the Nigerian people, an effrontery of unparalleled magnitude. It is also a confirmation that Nigeria is on a steady decline under the hugely corrupt government of Goodluck Jonathan. An urgent change is needed to save the nation from rogues who occupy Aso Rock, the den of thieves. When thieves and criminals are getting state pardon for looting the treasury, then you wonder what hope is there for the decent, honesty, hard working, little-earning, and straightforward Nigerians.

The audacity to pardon a thief like Alamieyeseigha is a confrontation and a challenge to the people of Nigeria. While kleptocrats and money launderers are being sent to jail and severely punished for their crimes in decent societies and civilized nations, Goodluck Jonathan has turned stealing and looting into an acceptable national policy, The pardon is a first step in refurbishing an already battered and buried image, but the plan is to eventually find an appointment for Alamieyeseigha. He may soon become the chairman of a national agency or parastatal. I will suggest NNPC where his special skills in cash movement, money laundering, looting, appearance and sudden disappearance, and feminine disguise techniques will help to propel Jonathan's transformation agenda to a new height. He will work with another special agent of Jonathan, Alison-Madueke in ensuring massive transformation and funds transformation.

Crime Nigeria Plc is determined to run the nation to the ground and desperate to loot its resources as quickly as it can. Oil blocks have been stolen and shared, oil lifting contracts have been grabbed and crude oil funds looted, and special government accounts are being emptied at will. Criminals are at work right inside the sit of power in Abuja, not in an imaginary dystopia; this is Dystopia Nigeria. Jonathan found it very hard to declare his asset, an asset that grew to well over 500 million naira in just a short time when he was deputy governor to Dipreye Alamieyeseigha. Before 1999 Goodluck Jonathan was a teacher and a civil servant earning less than 400, 000 naira a year. The treasury of Bayelsa State was not solely looted by Alamieyeseigha; Jonathan was with him. The problem was that attention was focused on just the then governor allowing his co-criminal to take office. The asset declaration of Goodluck Jonathan in 2009 is enough evidence to put him on trial for corrupt practices. Jonathan knows it, Alamieyeseigha knows it and their sidekicks also know it, and that is why Jonathan will do anything to rehabilitate his former boss and mentor. What are you if your mentor, benefactor and master is a thief? It will be too late if Nigeria is not hastily delivered from the hands of the band of thieves and criminals currently in charge. On one hand, Jonathan is pursuing a fierce enemy, the former Bayelsa governor, Timipre Sylva to show as evidence of his anti-corruption agenda, but on the other hand he is revealing and showing his true colour and credential as the lynchpin of a corrupt government who occupy the top job in Crime Nigeria Plc.

Nigeria has failed as a nation and it is almost certain that things will get worse if the current criminals and thieves running her affairs are not gotten rid of. Patriots in the Nigerian Armed Forces cannot afford to delay any longer; they have a duty to rid the nation of these bad eggs, criminals and looters. Looting is killing the masses and hunger and lack are plaguing our people. Our crude oil accounts are in disarray and the numbers no longer add up. Crude oil is being lifted by thieves and hundreds of thousands of oil barrels are being stolen by the same people who are supposed to protect the asset and wealth of the nation. Nigeria is a special case, in fact a basket case and a strange nation where nothing works and where those who found themselves in political offices are never committed to the people, preferring instead to pursue their own personal agendas and greed. The patriots in the Nigerian Armed Forces must act now and rid the nation of these criminals residing in Aso Rock, the various governors' lodges, the National Assembly and local government headquarters. We need cleansing to rid the nation of these bad eggs and to deliver the people from a criminal cartel whose activities no one could curtail. Things cannot continue like this. The situation is extremely fragile and very uncertain. Every parameter to measure failure is present and glaring in Nigeria: insecurity, instability, national disarray, abductions, reckless killings and murders, darkness and electricity failures, confusion, lawlessness, and nothing works.

Only a thief will pardon a thief,There is no hope for a better tomorrow except cleansing is done now and discipline and order, decency and respect for the people, fear of severe punishment and culture change are restored. The trials should be extended to those who stole oil blocks, petroleum ministry ministers, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) managers, executives and managing directors who have held offices since 1999 when President Obasanjo took office. Even those who have been undeservedly pardoned and those who issued the pardon should be tried and punished. Sanity must be restored, criminals punished severely by firing squad and new beginning attained. Things cannot, must not, will not and should not continue like this. The looting, stealing and outright emptying of public funds must come to an end now.
